So here comes Barack Obama for the great win at the Presidential race. Wow…its nearly about 1 year since the drama started. I used to watch TV and papers highlighting ‘Big Tuesday’ (so many times), ‘Big Wednesday’ and ‘Big Thursday’. It was continued like all the day. After sometime I got bored of watching those stupid dramas. So finally, looooong story in short “Obama, the President of US”.

I am the President of United States

I am the President of United States

Now one thing I observed for the word Osama, Bush, Singh most of the names are in dictionary. So now it’s the turn of Obama to enter into dictionary. While u typed in Obama in MS word and go for the spell check and see what. Only 2 words there to change, Osama and Bema. Wow is it like MS word is advising us to change Obama to Osama…that’s great.

So here is what I am going to say…’hamara ab kya hoga’. What is that and why is that. Bcoz here comes OBAMA with his campaign slogan “The change we need”. The change will be in ECONOMY: new jobs and tax cuts, EDUCATION: early childhood education, ENERGY ENV, ETHICS, FOREIGN POLICY, HEALTH CARE, HOMELAND SECURITY, IRAQ, TAXES, etc etc.

So there are a lot of changes that’s America can see in future, and also it can have some impact on the India. Think how it is going to impact the India. Here are some of the changes that India may see at a high level.

On outsourcing:Indian companies could be hurt if Obama keeps his promise of ending tax breaks for companies that ship US jobs overseas. IT companies are hoping Obama will not walk his anti-outsourcing talk, with over 60 per cent of the industry’s revenue, coming from the US. A lot is at stake, almost 25 billion dollars.

On immigration:Obama has questioned the need for more H1B visas, and during last year he had even voted to reduce the number of visas issued to foreign workers.

On trade:At a time when the world is reeling under the economic crisis, Democrats are seen as more protectionist. So cheap imports from developing countries could be hit.

And after all, many Indian-American and Indians support Obama. So why do Indians like Obama so much? Many say, it is because the Republicans are seen as more racist and McCain is more hawkish on foreign policy like that on Iraq.

So here we go, Obama is the new American President.

Congratulations Mr. Obama and all the best to all IT guys including me for a better future….now all like me need to watch out the all lay-offs, firings, termination and pink slips in the all form of industries until the world financial crisis runs to a good condition….off course US contribution is in this regard is more. Lets c how Mr. Obama tackles and managing all the happenings going on in a declining mood.
